I'm a newbie on my first grow. Candy cane and early miss strains. I have been trying to grow completely organic (indoors). My issue is that I'm wondering what's the problem these leaves are showing? Yellow with brown spots, im in the sixth week of flowering, ninth from seed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Promix HP soil
Tap water rested for 24+ hours, ph to 6.3

Thank you

Is there anything around the house I can add to address this problem?

Epsom salt and/or dolomite lime if you have any. A garden store or even Walmart would have it. Other than that, getting some Calmag would be a good idea to have on hand..

hey @Hawk_Emblem and welcome to AFN dude
I would say that's calcium (the brown spots) and a nitrogen deficiency (yellowing). A feed of cal mag and grow would do the job but if your on week 9 you may want to think about flushing, just feeding the plant water until the end making it use up its stores of nutes which will turn it yellow as it dies.

passing this on

Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it.
The pistils are still white and pointy and the trichomes are clear, I was going to wait until I see majority cloudy before starting to flush.
I have some Epsom salt, what would you recommend for dosage per liter?

Should I keep the pH at 6.3 for flushing? would you recommend to start flushing now until trichomes turn 25% amber?

I don't remember how much per gallon to use but it should be relatively easy to find the answer on Google. 6.3 sounds good, and the Amber is all up to you and how you like it. Me personally I would've already started by then. I usually do it sooner than that. Maybe around 10-15%. Kinda depends on how long I feel like letting it ride and the kind of stone I possibly want. Hope that helps. [emoji111]

6.3 pH is all cool dude, I would recommend flushing now, I'm starting to lean toward the long flush of 2 - 3 weeks... my last flush was about 10 days in soil and was no where near enough, should have gone for the extra 5 days and pushed it into the 3rd week. One plant flushed better than the other and there is noticeable difference in the smoothness of the smoke.
