Problem: 3 week old autoflower drooping curling

Medium/grow method: 3 gallon fabric pot, half filled with FFOF then 2 teaspoons of dr earth 5-5-5 then filled with happy frog

Feed and supplements used: dr earth 5-5-5 and recharge

water source: RO water at 6.5 nothing added to it.

PH in the root zone: 6.2

Strain/age: Banana glue 3 weeks

light used:Mars hydro tsw2000 65% power 20 inches away from top of plant

Climate:75-78 lights on 67-68 lights off. RH is 50-60%

Have three plants all same environment, strain, and water but I am getting one plant that looks like crap and is drooping and has slight canoeing of leafs. I flushed today and the ppm of run off was 1000, run off ph 6.2. Any ideas of what I should do?

@Obiej30:welcome: Welcome to AFN:welcome:Too much! too soon.

FFOF is heavily amended and a "Hot" soil to start with, then you add 5-5-5 and Recharge layered with FFHF on top. I have not seen this approach work. Layering sounds like a good idea but roots function better when the osmotic pressure of the nutrients is equal along their length. This would indicate a homogeneous soil is a better choice. Then you flushed soil, which is really only used as last ditch effort to save a plant on life support. You might have washed out some of the more soluble salts but there is just so much more in that pot that is way out of balance now with no clear path to restore it.

Just water with no nutrients for the next week and see if she will talk to us. Right now she is headed for a lock-out.

Yeah that one plant might not make it, but my other two that are in the same soil and everything are doing great, I for sure won’t be using the same soil next run.

Working in the infirmary I see the most problems with Precharged soils. I think it would be better to go full Organic Living Soil or full Hydroponic Coco and avoid the stuff in the middle.
