I have two @PlatinumLEDTom lights, a P300 and a P600, both of which are absolutely amazing lights for the record. However, their heatsinks and fans are all inside that aluminum housing and have a bit of dust on them, which I would like to clean before my next go round. Beside using cans of compressed air, like say for cleaning a keyboard (I don't have an air compressor), is there any other methods anyone has used to clean them out? I was also considering long cue tips and some iso alcohol to wipe things down carefully, such as the valleys in the heat sinks. Anyhow, if anyone has experience with this, some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, stay lifted :smoking:

What's up @MordecaiAlliVanAllenOshea? Happy to hear your getting great results with the lights. Best way the clean the things would be using a can of compressed air. The same that you would use to clean out a computer keyboard. You can also clean the outside of the unit with a damp rag and some mild detergent.

Let me know if you have any additional questions and happy growing!

Yes, I love these lights. They make some chunky buds! And I really want to upgrade to a 450 and 900, but it's not in the budget, currently.

Thank you for the info, that's what I figured but wasn't sure if that would work for cleaning everything out. Will that somehow blow dust into the LED panel area? Or is that all sealed off from the rest of the device? Thanks again. :smoking:
