My hay like harvest from earlier this year
I water my plant when I get home from work, around 6 PM every day. Lately the plant is wilted before watering, pretty much every day. 3 gal fabric pots. Watering 1 gal every day unless it rains (has not rained much)

Are wilted plants bad? They perk up within an hour of watering to their normal state.

I would try watering twice a day have and pics

I guess I can start watering before and after work.

Here are pics. These are shortly after watering, after sun is very low. They are even more wilted than this when I get home from work. I will water a half gal before work and see what happens.

She looks nice does the pot feel light when you pick it up before you go to work and after

After work it is bone dry. I never check it before I leave but I will start checking every morning

Ah this is a simple one... your water is too cold... I'm guessing your watering strait from the hose... that is root shock by the look of those leaves, very similar to over watering but the leave are not curling enough at the ends

fill a tank up and store in coolish dark place... optimal temp for water is about 19c... go no lower than 16c or you will shock the roots... my water tanks average around 20c... the higher the temp of the water the less oxygen is in it , so don't leave your water in the sun light

I made this mistake on my very first grow

Thanks for the tip, but my water is the temp of my garage so it's a little less warm than outside, so it's not root shock from cold water

My outdoor plants (also 3 gal soft pots) were doing the same. Maybe try watering in the morning, rather than evening. That way they start the day with some cool water..that way when it heats up in the afternoon (I'm assuming its getting warm in the afternoons where you live) the root zone has plenty of moisture and stays cooler. I was having a problem with my root zone getting really hot on hot days. This helped.

On the other hand...if you're watering in the evening, they spend at least part of the hottest time of day dry, or almost dry. You can get a "steamy" situation down in the root zone if it is hot and almost dry....leading to plant problems. Just my two cents, hope it helps.

Ok thank you. I will water half gallon when I get home, then start watering 1 gallon in the mornings. We shall see. I am in fox farms coco loco which is supposed to retain water well.
