Greetings all!
A buddy gifted me a few seeds labeled as RQS Diesel Auto. I planted the seeds direct into a soil blend of Ocean Forest (25%), Pro-Mix HP (65%) and perlite (10%) into 5G fabric pots outdoors. By planting 1 July, I figured these seeds would produce small plants that may be getting close to harvest in mid-September. I'm 5 weeks in and have plants that are over 4' tall and no signs of any budding at all. I think these seeds are mis-labeled and these may be photo plants of some unknown sort.
I'm using Fox Farms trio of nutes along with silica and cal-mag. I check my soil and am staying in the 6.7 - 7.0 range consistently. I fertilize 2x weekly and pretty much water daily (7.0ph water) to keep the plants hydrated in this summer heat. I have a great location that gets full morning sun but a weeping hawthorn provides filtered shade in the afternoons.
Please note that the leaves are starting a bit of discoloration between the veins. It is NOT just the new leaves beginning to discolor, it is consistent among all growth top to bottom. We are getting lots of rain, so it may be likely the rain is stripping lots of nutes out of the soil.
Any idea what may be causing the leaves to begin this slight discoloration between veins? THANKS!!!
