I have a question? I am in the middle of my third auto grow and I have yet to gain height in my plants. The tallest Ive grown is 22 inches tall. It was an Amnesia haze and it was rated between 24 an 32 inches tall. the rest averaged about 16 inches. I have an Auto JH that is at 20 inches after 7 1/2 weeks. The buds are immature so Im gonna let it go for 12 weeks instead of ten. I also have a blueberry blisds that is also 7 1/2 weeks old and has great looking buds on it but is only 16 inches tall. I have checked for pests and deficiencies there are none that I can see. I grow in promix and use foxfarms nutes. They are really awesome looking plants nice and bushy and green Just not gaining any height. I sure could use some advice on what Im doing wrong. Oh yeah The pH is between 6.4 and 6.8 Thanks ahead of time.

what type and wattage light you got going?

What size pots are you using? What kind of light, and how far away from the plants is it?

Hey guys thanks for repsponding so fast. I have 2 300w full spectrum lights on each plant. At the moment thy are 12 inches from top bud. and 12 inches from the side. I am growing in four gallon pots

Hmm. How about your environment? Temps and humidity and such?

I'm a total rookie when it comes to led's, I have 2 300 watt panels myself, but haven't really gotten around to using them just yet. But In the past with my 250 watt cfl's, I've had to force the plants to stretch by continously moving the light up bit by bit. Don't take my word for it though, as I said, I'm not really an led guy... How ever, I'm sure one will pop by here eventually :)

Also, autos tend to have quite a growth spurt as they start the blooming phase. Your shorties may still have some stretch in em yet.

Is that correct? You have 2 300w LED's over each plant? So you have a total of 1200w? Or is it 1 300w for each plant? What makes you think something is wrong with them? If they have good color then they are happy. They don't have a need to reach. Heck 1 300w LED can grow 2 plants easy. Don't worry about the height. Just like women some of these girls are short too! Can you post a picture of them?

Size isn't everything....

As long as they put out.

Er... Produce... I meant to say...

2 300 watt lights is overkill, especially for veg. Is that actual draw, or rated for 300, drawing 150 watts? Reducing the amount of light in veg, or raising your lights should help the plants stretch out some. Also too much blue in your spectrum will keep plants abnormally short/squat. Try using one light / plant in veg and then adding the second one during flower maybe and/or raise you lights a bit.

Im getting mixed signals then. I was told light on top and some side lighting to get under the canopy. I have 600w total for each 300 top and 300 side. is this too much? and would it harm the plants.
