My harvesting of the whitemaster auto strain i have going now is going to start around april 15 ( for the small indica pheno)

Im going to a concert on 4/20! So the plan is to make 1/2 pound of cannabutter and bake up some treats for the event!

My plan is to use the stove top, i do NOT have a crock pot (slow cooker) or a double broiler..

First off, which setting do you reccomend? The lowest? I think im going to get a cooking thermometer so i can keep an eye on temp, just to be safe.. maybe around 200-250F? ???
the other thing i was wondering...how long do i let the butter/water/marijuana mixture simmer for? Ive heard as long as 24 hours, but i think this is incorrect, im thinking im going to go with 4 hours, but again im still unsure...

PLEASE HELP

Also i plan on using around 7 grams of the best whitemaster buds i harvest.. do you think 7 grams of superfire will create some pretty potent butter?

Cheers and thankyou in advance! :D

im thinking im going to go with 4 hours,

4 huors I find is about right... 200-250 is about right... i wouldnt go with he microwave... thats not gonna extract enough stuff I dont think... I find under 4 hours of simmering and stirring and you dont get everything out THC-wise. 7 grams... hard to say.. but sounds about right... if you're a lil unsure make it ten... test in advance... wait 1.5 hours before being pretty sure of how high itll get you... :)

oh yeah... for best resulst... put water in the bottom of your pan for th simmer time.. (couple qquarts or more... itll take the fert flavors and off flavors out.,... also rinse with hot water well... for same reason.

hope this helps!
