Hello Everyone.
I'm currently planning out my first Autoflower grow. My previous grow experience has been outdoors with a couple of plants hidden amongst the tomato's and hollyhocks in spring/summer. Came across Autoflowers and said hey I want to do that. I'll plant a couple outside for the hell of it but my main emphasis will be on my indoor grow.

I just purchased a second hand(unused still in box) tent and light set. The tent is:
AgroMax 39x39x60
The light set is:
Tek Four 2 foot 4 lamp
24"x24" T5-20,000 Lumens and came with 8 bulbs. 4-6400k that the seller said was for veg and 4-3000k for flowering.
I'm going to order Northern lights and Amnesia Haze seeds for first grow as they seem to be the consensus pick as easiest to grow for first timers.

I'm planning on using 5gal air pots and would like to grow 3-4 plants for the first grow. My growing medium will either be Canna professional plus or Pro Mix HP. So here are my questions, do I have enough light? If I center the light set I will have 7" free space on all sides, should I fill space with CFL's or is light set I have sufficient? Is there any measurable difference between Canna and Pro Mix? Are 3-4 plants in that space and light too many, not enough, or just about right?

I hope the details and questions aren't too much but I'm a firm believer in the adage that failure to plan is planning to fail.

Yes you have enough light, but be depending on how big them plants get (5gal pots) & (tent size) things may get crowded from a light perspective yes definitely doable. What's up my friend. Welcome to AFN I did a pretty awesome grow with T5 and cfl so you will do good just learn to train the plants to have an even canopy with some LST and keep the lights CLOSE and you'll be good. I Def reccomend some supplimental CFL when flowering the 2700k lights work well

That sounds like a good plan and a great setup. I'd follow A-train's advice. Also start a journal so we can follow along with you. Besides I think a good journal is a growers best friend.

I'll definitely heed that advice. This first grow will definitely a learn as I go experience but I am looking forward to it.

I will do a journal, I noticed looking over the site that journals are very helpful as they get a lot of good input and advice. As a first timer I can use all the input and advice I can get.

personally I would go with 3 gallon pots for your set up. it is going to be tight in there.
