New Grower plagron light mix

has any one used plagron light mix? a few questions, it is the only mix i can get, is it ok to start seeds in it? can advanced nutrients super teas grow and bloom be used with it? should i have something to start to help the roots? if so any suggestions. thanks in advance for any help

I took a quick look and couldn't find much information on it, only that it contain peat and other selected fibers. Can you post the list of ingredients and percentages of each from the bag label?

thanks muddy, i didnt buy it yet, i will drive to the store on saturday, i just wanted to know if any one was useing it cause as u said there is very little info on it, my store only stocks that brand in all mix and light mix, i wanted some info before i paid for it, i didnt want to buy it and then find it wasnt great.

i found this Ok here goes.....

Plagron Light mix - mix of peat, fibre, + perlite, with only minimal amounts of nutrients.

Ph (h2o) - 5.5 - 6.5

E.C. - (here theres a symbol that looks like a backwards y s/cm) - 325-425

N.p.k (kg/ms) - 1.5

That's about all it says - Is this type of soil too strong for starting seedlings?

i use plagron light mix that what thery give as bio light mix, iv grow in it lots of time and no troubles,im using MP form BQ which nice form start then in to hot mix bro,iv been try soil out this time im happy with BQ but keep an eye on you ph and add some dolomite lime to the soil if you use it,but plagron light good,BQ much cheper and you get 3 bag for the same money only my ,but you be fine in P-L bro
