hello, when I insert the aquavalves into the autopots trays they don't seem to want to go down to flush with the base of the tray, is this by design?

there is a moulded plastic "guider" in the corner that the valve pushes down on and this secures it in place but for whatever reason the whole valve doesn't seem to want to go all the way down, does this matter for the operation of the valve at all?

thanks

Nope. As long as it is pressed all the way down as far as it will go, it is fine. The main thing is that it needs to be anchored properly on that anchor post to keep it in place. Even if it was not down perfectly, all that would do would be to increase the flood depth by a millimeter or two which would not hurt anything.
