Hi everyone, im doin my first feminized indoor and im not sure when to swap to 12/12
I did some ez mainlining and wanted to have it a bit higher but im concerned about the stretching on the first weeks of flowering.
The strain is a skunk so it's 50% sativa. Growin vegetative under a 150w hid. She's almost half of my grow box.

It all depends on which pheno type you have.. The common practice in the photoperiod world, is to plan for the plant stretching 2-3x's it's current size. If it's already filling half the tent, you should plan on flipping to 12/12 any day now. Wait much longer and the plant may out grow the space.

hello! i grow photos and autos and sometimes both. anyway, you might want to look into SCROG - the netting to push the plants down and weave them almost to take advantage of the space and expose all budd sites.

your tent looks small, so does your plant, but if you are almost out of room then def dont go higher.
what size tent you got?

my photos are at about 1/3 height of my tent, they are pushing through my scrog now to about 1/2 way. the top 1/3 of my tent has all the lights and filter so there is no room up there for them to stretch above 2/3 mark. I will upload a picture later but I think its a good thing you switched to 12/12 now, although your plants could grow 10x what they are now. if you would let them.

I would flip the lights in the next week if your plant is halfway up the tent now. You could add in some trellis net and stretch the branches out wide through the netting, this will give you some more room in there. I have weaved them through the netting to grow horizontally for a little in cases where I was limited by height.

I'd keep the scrog in mind if she stretches too much.
The box is 180cm in eight while 60x60, the fan is exactly at the middle of it.
I think im having a lil nute burn going on right now.
By the way, i swapped monday and still there are no hairs, is it normal?

Week 1 of flower is usually called the "transition week", where the plant adjusts t o being on a 12/12 light schedule. Some people don't even count week one as the 1st week of flower.. Week 2 is usually the start of the stretch, and maybe even a few pistils will show. By week 3 you should see the buds starting to take form.

Update
Today starts the 4th week of flowering, 5th if we count the transition one.
Feeding everyday with a 13-14 pk 1ml/l (sorry I don't count ppm usually) and once a week with a 5-5-5 npk.
Looking good so far imho, what do u think?
I know its not easy but, any prevision on harvest?
