I'm currently growing my autos under 24hrs light.
I am curious as to whether a photoperiod plant would cope growing in veg in this environment?

I have my doubts as it seems logical that they would require rest, given their genetic make up.

It would undoubtedly stress the plant a fair bit but I'm wondering how much.

Has anyone attempted this or have any ideas as to if it would be worth trying?

hello 90% of my vegging last year was done under 24hr lighting i couldn't light proof the area so just ran 24hrs it works great no problems the plants will still shutdown and rest/sleep with the lights on you will see the leafs drooping for a couple of hours saying that i never noticed any benefits from running 24hrs on you dont get extra growth

have you tried a 18/6 or 20/4 lighting schedule for your autos

Sweet that good news. Cheers dude.

So its worth a try at very least.

I have grown 20/4 before but I wanted to try 24 this grow. The results so far are probably not worth it but I haven't finished the grow yet.

My next will probably be a 18/6 as I really want to start learning to train, clone and get the most out of a photoperiod, while still growing my autos.

definitely worth a try and from what iv seen and read around here 18/6 seems to be the best schedule unless you have problem keeping up the temps
