hi guys just waiting on my seeds popping and then im into my first grow:jump:
im still unsure of what ph i should be looking for, the water i get straight from the tap is between 6.0 and 6.5, will this be ok for the first two weeks before i add nutes? and what ph should i be aiming for when i add the nutes to the water to feed? any help would be appreciated :toke:
:peace:

You want to be in the 6.3 - 6.5 range, so your tap water sounds good. If they use chlorine in your water, let it stand in an open container for 24 hours before you use it so the chlorine has a chance to dissipate. Give that the pH is that low to start with, you'll probably need some pH Up once your start adding nutes as the nutes will lower the pH.

thanks for the help guys, should i be looking for the same range of ph from the run-off as well?:toke:
:peace:

Yes, the run off should be the same or close to what you feed. If it's way off it indicates that your soil pH isn't correct.

im just waiting on grow northern sending me the hanging kit for my light as it was missing, and then i will post a grow diary and save me from starting all these threads, thanks for the help muddy

Great. Start it here in New Growers so we can keep an eye on it and help out if needed.
