Hey guys so my ph was very low i think I have been feeding plants at around the 6.0ph as my ph pen was not calibrated correctly. I thought my plants were being over or under watered but now im fairly sure ph was the issue.

Just wondering is it really necessary to flush or can I just start to feed at 6.6 or so and the ph will correct itself? I am full organic biobizz nutes in lightmix soil by biobizz.. plants are just showing early signs of deficiency on lower large fan leafs mostly so I'm thinking the soil will buffer the ph back to the proper range or is this just wishful thinking?

Yes, it should help, sure will hurt if you don't.....I've used light mix and bb nutes for years and it seems best in my grows to like 6.4-6.8...
light mix may buffer a small amt but but shit going in will make shit going out.

Great thanks I'm pretty sure the ph was off by .4 or .5 and I was ph'ing feed and water to 6.6 or 6.7 so pretty sure was just over 6 around 6.1 or 6.2 goung in so over multiple waters probably has crept below ph 6 we will just have to wait and see of it corrects itself im hoping I caught it in time

I had a similar issue growing in soil with biobizz nutes. This was the advice given to me which worked.

What you can do is first calibrate your pH pen, then take some soil , about an inch or two below the top and create a thick slurry with it. Leave the water in there for about 10 - 15 min and then measure your pH. Careful with the pH pen as the glass is delicate....

If its low do the following. Take your water and lower the pH level down to around 5.5 and then adjust it back up using either lime or baking soda to around 6.6 -6.7 . The lime or soda will stay in the soil and help buffer it back up to normal levels.

Cool man thanks did you suffer persistent drooping symptoms like over/under watering when this happened like the plant lost its vitality?

Heres what she is looking like post watering with 1 litre water 2hrs ago not perking back up

No I started to get nute lockout . Always waited for the pot to dry out a bit for watering. In 5 gallon pots I was watering every 4 to 5 days or so.
For soil waited for the top inch or so to be completely dry and for it to feel light when I picked it up.

So you will now need to wait for this before you buffer your soil.

I am using roughly 5 gal air pots and giving 2 litres every 2 days and pot is getting light after 2 days.. plant has a massive amount of flowering heads and is quite big i am thinking maybe it needs some water at the bottom of pot could this cause this issue with drooping?

I can see some roots are poking out the bottom of air pot so do you think it could be an issue that the lower half of pot has dried out too much as I have not watered until i have gotten some run off yet?

What is your feeding schedule? What is the ppm of your feed? How often do you use plain water to water the plants?

The ph of soil is rarely an issue. And by rarely, I mean, rarely, lol. The soil ph is naturally adjusted in the rhizosphere/root zone.

Hey man I have attached schedule and I am just after noticing that I jumped from 1l -> 1.5l -> 2l over the space of 3 waterings but the plant appeared to be using it all up as pot was getting light. As you can see every few feeds I gave plain water and was always around the 6.6ph.

I don't measure the ppm as its biobizz organic nutrients and I may have given too little nutrients if anything as you can see feed amounts are very low.

I assumed that at day 40 + in flowering stretch the plant could handle 2l of water every 2 days

Not sure about the drooping but you should be watering to runoff.
I was giving them around 10 litres every 4 / 5 days which gave about 10 to 15% runoff.

Sounds like you are watering too little too often
