i just bought an oakton 'digital ph tester meter ecotester ph-1'. is this meter any count? i got the calibration 4 and 7 fluid. is there anything else i need? i hope not because i am so anxious to get my 'think different' going on. thanks!

I have a oakton ph2 and I really like it.Even though your meter is knew I would do the calibration check to make sure it is correct and your set to go.

Also, don't let the electrode dry out or it will shorten it's life. I keep mine in a jar with about an inch of storage solution in the jar to keep it wet.
