I have just got my ph meter and found that my soil is 7, amazed as I thought if anything it would be on the acidic side.
The auto assassins that I'm growing are now 14 days old and look very healthy and growing like, well, weeds.
I know that it wouldn't cost much to alter the ph but I was more curious would a correction to 6 or less make that much difference and would I be able to see it in growth and yield?

Lol , I think it's funny that for years I never ph'ed my water or soil and had great results . Found when I did start checking ph , my water was over 7 but soil was around 6 .

I HAVE noticed a slight improvement since I have starting checking ph and using air stones in my feed water . Nothing huge , but there is a difference .

I think for me it's possible that because I bred out my own stuff , that the ones that did well and got seeded had adapted to my conditions .

I hadn't thought to check the water until you guys suggested it durr!
I would imagine it's acidic 'cause I live in a granite county but will check.
Have been running air into my water for a few days to increase the oxygen but now wonder because cold water absorbs more oxygen would this be a greater benefit or would the shock of cold water on the roots negate the benefits.
