QUESTION: At what PH does MJ optimally absorbe nutrients in through their leaves?

If roots can absorbe nutrients through water intake optimally at 6.3-6.5 I am sure their is an optimal PH I can humidify my area with.

The story: One of the advantages of living in a dry place like I do I have more control over the humidity. I like it very humid the first 2 to 3 weeks, then i will drop it down from 70-75% to 55-60% to finish 50-55%. Current humidity is 12% here so I fill the humidifier daily and it runs all day. I know optimal soil and root PH during veg is 6.3-6.5 but, should I pH the water in my humidifier to optimize water intake for the leaves? & if so, to what PH?

I personaly don't know, but usualy I see ppl do foliare feeding with the same water they feed the plants, so my guess would be to use the same pH.

Thats a very good question. In all my reading I have never seen anyone mention foliar pH.

neutral i would say foliar the absorption bypasses the root so i doubt ph would be much of an issue as theres no exchange going on (Guess)

A m8 of mine's brother in law is a botanist. I will ask him next I see him. I have asked myself this same question often.
PH 6 to 7 seems to work when applying epsom salts to the leaves but is it the optimal foilar PH range?

I will ask and get back here but it could be in a few weeks, so be patient.

A quick Google and I found this:
"PH EFFECT ON RESPONSE TO FOLIAR SPRAYS
Foliar absorption is pH dependent. This is attributed to the effect on the cuticle of complex electrostatic repulsion and attraction phenomena, which are regulated by pH. It is believed that for each Phosphate, for example, has its greatest absorption and utilization at a pH 3-3.7. There is evidence that Zinc is absorbed best at pH 4.1-4.9. The optimum pH probably varies somewhat with each nutrient and its carrier. Information on optimum pH values for nutrient absorption is extremely limited at this time."

Possibly looking at nutrient absorbtion charts with PH, we can identify PH optimal ranges for specific nutients. If a specific nutrient is lacking, look at the chart and ensure ph for that nutient is optimal when spraying.

However 6.3 to 6.5 seems cover all nutrients based on the charts.
