Found one leaf that something has left evidence on. I cut it off and checked everything else, No other signs besides this one leaf. I changed my sticky traps out for fresh ones and I released about a dozen of my highly trained attack beetles, we shall see if it’s an isolated incident.

Shit. So sorry to see that. I've had thrips twice. I hate those little bastards with a passion.

You're in flower but early flower so you might be able to get away with Neem oil. If not, go with Spinosad. Don't blow it off because you think you're in the clear. If they were able to get you once, they may well be able to hit you again.

My grow got mauled by thrips last summer and, even with Spinosad, they won. I had to watch my grow get eaten as the trichs turned to amber. Very no bueno.

I'm at the tail end of a grow right now. Like a fool, I didn't spray prophylactically earlier in the grow and they hit me about 1 week ago. I drenched the plants in Spinosad and I killed a lot of them but I know that those evil little assholes aren't all dead. </rant>

So this actually wasn’t thrips at all, it was two leaf hoppers that somehow got into my tent. There’s a shitload of them in the garden outside so I’m not surprised. My carnivorous terrarium was happy to eat one of them and I’m sure the lady bugs got the the other one. Made a little video with the lady bugs yesterday. MURDER BEETLES

Leaf Hoppers will do it. They must have been small because the Leaf Hopper damage I've experienced outdoor completely massacred my plant.( Never had them indoor) They left behind much larger, and more spread out wounds on the leaves. Hate them buggers.

Yes they were either a tiny species or baby ones. I’m assuming it’s a pygmy species because I never see the big variety hanging around outside.

Ah, not thrips? Well get the leaf hoppers to go over and kick the thrips' asses just because! :)

Glad that it got sorted out. My grow is going to suffer a bit but I think I'll get it harvested before there's more than minimal damage.

Nah no thrips fortunately, I spotted the leaf hoppers. The ladybugs are still on patrol in there, I saw them move to the dirt and snack on some fungus gnats this morning. They are pretty amazing actually!

Good to hear that you've got it under control. The ladybug approach would be the way to go.

Well what do you know…yes. You can, ah, I can use them to get rid of thrips. Wow. It's definitely worth a try.

Where did you get your ladybugs?

I use Pot Poppers Nematodes for Thrips and Fungus Gnats. Put a pouch in your foliar, and two pouches in the soil.
