Iv bn seeing a few gnats lately and was wondering what's the best thing to KILL the bloody things! Is gnats off any good? :toke:

I keep a small dish/cup of something wet & sweet near my babes...friggin gnats are so hogish, they drown themselves....fly paper helps too....a lil sand spread over ya soil will help...as well as diatemaceous earth so they'll kill themselves crawling through it....
Lot of small cheap ways to keep'em in check....

Gnatrol or Mosquito Dunks would be the best options imo :)

Stunted Insect

As the man said above, let your soil dry out inbettween feeds, not compleatly but enough that the top inch or two is nice and dry. Once this is done you can also chuck a couple of thick slices of potato on the top of the soil with moist side down, any living lavae will move to the potato after 12 hrs or so chuck the potato in the bin, if you can when doing this move them out of the grow area till you throw out the potato and clean the grow area throughly.

Ignored fungus gnats are not only bloody annoying but the lavae can damage roots badly.

Thanks dude this is basically what i did! :D

I use the yellow sticky no pest strips, i believe they're Safers, and they took care of that. But mine are potted plants outdoor..

you can also add a 1" layer of perlite on top of your soil.
