First off, lets get some tunes in here, do this thing right...

Okay! I love Green Crack. It's dense. It's sticky. It yields well. It's easy to grow. It gets me stoned as fuck. Every patient who I've smoked it with loves it. The only thing I dislike about it is the name. It was originally called Crush or Green Crush, so we will be calling it that henceforth.

This will be a perpetual journal, which means that once the harvest photos start coming in, there will be new ones every two weeks.

I just ordered my seeds today, so the fun should start by the 20th, I hope!

Here's a breakdown of my setup, I'll be posting photos of me starting my soil tomorrow (I just ordered the seeds, but I like to start my pots a week early so I can flush them once and give the oatmeal time to start breaking down, and the mico a chance to establish, etc etc etc...)

1) Type and wattage of lights. (MH, HPS, CFL's, tube fluorescents, LED's)

Hortilux 1000 w hps x 2

.2) Distance from tops?
Bulb set 26" from the soil level, no tops yet, never closer than 10".

.3) Reflector type? (cool tube set-up, bat wing, enclosed reflector, bare bulb...)
Bat Wing

.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?
Yes

.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?
Yes

.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?
1000w, 2100K (I think), 18/6

Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...)

I am going to be using Roots Organic Potting Soil, with 20% pearlite added, plus oatmeal and mico. There will be a layer of clay pellets on the bottom to aerate the soil, and on the top to help hold in moisture.

.8) Size of container.
2 gallon, 9" diameter. More like 1.75 with the pellets

Your nutrients and water:
.9) Source of water. (tap or filtered) What's it's ph?

Bottled water - reverse osmosis/uv/etc, I PH to 6.1-6.3 after adding nutes.

10) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)
PH Pen and occasionally drops just to verify teh readings

11) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)
PH up/PH Down

12) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.
That's a lot of detail -
1st week is PH Water+Clonex (20ml)

2nd week is PH water+Pureblend Pro Veg+Clonex+Liquid Karma+CalMag+Silica

3-4 week is PH water+Pureblend Pro Transition+Liquid Karma+Calmag+Silica

5-7 is Ph water+Cutting Edge Bloom+Liquid Karma

8 Flush with PH Water

13) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?
Feed Every Watering 15-20ml nutes + 5-10ml per additive per gallon.

14) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)
see above

16) What is your ingoing water's ph?

6.1-6.3

17) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?
No

Your growroom:
18) Indoors or outdoors?

In

19) What size of closet, room or hut?
12x12 room, i use about 1/4 of that

20) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off?
I run AC at 75 while lights are on, and have lots of air circulation, with my plants right under an AC vent, but I do not have an exact temperature/humidity measurement

21) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom?
No

Your strain:
22) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?)

Green CRUSH!

23) Is this an photoperiod strain?
Auto

26) From seeds or clones?
Seed

Massive thanks going out to @iampepe for pointing me to a new seed supplier, I'm getting 20 seeds for what I was getting 15 for, plus a bunch of free seeds, awesome!

Holy shit @iampepe you made my day - I didn't order yet as I have to put cash in the bank on Monday, they have MUCH better prices, I can get 20 seeds for less than the 15 I was about to buy, plus they have a bunch of freebies! I'm sold, I created an account!

Are you using ir and uv lights? I noticed the price thing too...

Yes, I use IR lights set to come on about 10 minutes before the HPS comes on, and for 10 minutes after it turns off. I am finally adding UVB to my set up on this run, not for the plants whole life cycle, but def for the last 4-5 weeks (flowering, you know). They will start on one end of the grow area, and as they mature they will move across teh grow chamber, eventually falling under a 40" uvb reptile bulb. The bulb is SUPPOSED to cover a 40x30x30 area, so enough for all teh plants to get some, I'll have to rotate them so they all get equal exposure. I hear it makes the buds super frosty!

Goodluck @Gabe and all of the best wishes for your perpeptual adventure il be popping in regularly, and I agree GreenCrush sounds plenty enhanced hahah not that I care much myself but you do get idiots who quiclky draw negative conotations from such names ie. Crystal meth from fastB also falls in that category, personally doesnt bother me but I know where you coming from with that 1would also not want to tell my patients here you go some greencrack or crystal meth which would you prefer lol?!

I have two LED's with IR and UV and read up a little about it, from everything I gather they do help make a better overall harvest. I'm hoping to build my own Cree COB light soon with IR and UVB. I'll follow along here and hopefully you'll be able to notice a nice difference with the UVB without expensive testing.

Started my soil today. I like to set my pots up about a week ahead of time, to give the beneficial fungus a chance to fully inoculate the soil, and the oatmeal (which adds carbs to the soil and feeds teh mico) a chance to break down

The ingredients:
IMG_20160613_141255.jpg

First, 6 qt of Roots Organic Soil
IMG_20160613_141612.jpg

Next, 1 qt of Perlite
IMG_20160613_141636.jpg

One Scoop of oatmeal per gallon
IMG_20160613_141812.jpg

One Scoop of Myco per Gallon
IMG_20160613_141853.jpg

Mix it up well!
IMG_20160613_141959.jpg

A little more than 1/2 qt of clay pellets on bottom of pot, to help aerate teh roots (once teh roots hit this, the plant sorta goes semi hydro, and you dont get those swirly rootbound roots on the bottom of the pot)
IMG_20160613_142134.jpg

Fill with soil mix - dont pack it down, just let teh weight of the soil set itself!
IMG_20160613_142641.jpg

A little more than 1/2 qt of clay pellets on top, to hold in moisture
IMG_20160613_142809.jpg

Water with 1/2 gallon of ph water with clonex added. After checking the runoff ph, I wish I had some garden lime to add to this soil, its a bit acidic.
IMG_20160613_143325.jpg

All done! Now it sits in a corner for a week or so, until I'm ready to pop a seed in it (yes, I put the seeds right in the pots, like some sort of caveman)
