Hello growers,
I am a beginner and I’m about to start a culture on my balcony as I stated in a previous thread. I live in Eastern Europe and it’s starting to get warm, I’m planning to germinate soon so it can be ready to be placed outside around mid-may. I got some seeds from RQS (northern light auto, quick one, diesel auto, royal dwarf and royal Ak) but I’d like to investigate and find out whether there are better options

I know there is no such thing as perfection in this world, but I’d be curious to have some opinions regarding the best choice of strains for a balcony according to the following critierias:

- low smell strain (I’ve heard northern light is ok in this department)
- easy to grow for a beginner
- resilient for northern climate
- resilient to grow outdoors, I won’t have access to growing lights
- compact size

Please feel free to share your experiences of balcony growing as well, it’d be much appreciated!

thanks for reading and have a great day.

Hi. I would say that the quick one is a nice choice. For what you want, from RQS, easy bud and royal critical auto would also be good options. Resilient and easy to grow.
Happy growing.

That’s what I thought according to the description available on RQS website, I will start with Quick one for sure. Easy bud caught my eyes too. Do you have first hand experiences with any of those?

Thanks for your reply! Let’s hope for the best
