This is my fourth grow. I’ve been trying to grow outdoors but ran into some issues. My grow area isn’t ideal and I made a number of mistakes, namely exposing the grow bags to too much sun/heat. The plants seemed to suffer from stunting. My max yield was 20 grams. On the bright side: I’ve learned a-lot and got some fairly decent smoke out of it! So, I bought a tent and moved my last grow indoors. There are still some issues I have to deal with. My garage location can get very hot, so my plan is to run plants avoiding summer. So, this is my first full tent grow.
For this first grow I’m going to grow a Twisted Trees Mulled and Twisted and Nova seeds. I’m using BioBizz lite, with their Starter kit nutes. The tent is a Mars Hydro 2.3x2.3x5ft with TS1000 light. I’m starting the plants in a low stress container and will transplant into 5 gallon Grow Buckets around week three. I’m planning to follow the BB nute schedule backing off, if needed. Feel free to comment and give suggestions.

Good luck, twisted have some decent stuff. Just grew out Crinkle cut and it was a good yield and thick buds. But my other grow with twisted managerie, it was really lanky and airy buds, might be just the one.

Day 15 update: the Mulled and Twisted had some deformed leaves, but looks strong. The Nova was getting top heavy so I added some support. I forgot to mention, I added some DynoMyco to the soil before planting.

Day 21: I moved the plants to the GroBuckets. Temps were around 40f last night. So the plants came inside to sleep. I think that moving the lights-off time to the middle of the day and using higher LED output will keep the temperature in range. we’ll see.

I'll be watching this intently! I'm a first time grower and I strongly considered grobuckets after I discovered SIP systems and bottom watering. I also stunted my Twisted Tree Twisted Cookies, so it'd be nice to see how a properly grown Twisted Tree strain comes out. Best of luck.
Thanks for the kind comments! I hope l can live up to the expectation of properly growing these plants, LOL. Virtually, everything I know about growing is from AFN. So, you’ve come to the right place.
The GroBuckets seem to fit my needs; simple, cheap, and allow for being away for up to a week. We’ll see, but so far I’m very happy with them.

Day 24: changing the lights off to the afternoon/evening hours is doing a great job of keeping the temperature in the tent up. It’s been in the high 40’s at night and the tent has stayed around 60-70 degrees F.
Today I topped the plants at the fourth node. Nova has some pistols showing. Both plants look super healthy.

Day 28: added BB nutes by top watering. I had some extra nute water from the first feeding. It went rancid after a few days. So, I think its better to top feed nutes and only put plain water in the GroBucket reservoir. The plants have recovered nicely from the main stem topping. Didn’t seem to stunt them at all. As an experiment, I clipped one cola at the second and third nodes (see pic). I’m interested to see how the topped node compares to the untopped on the same plant.

Day 35: the girls continue to fill the tent! I did some LST this week to help even the canopy. I’m definitely seeing the secondary shoots coming to the top. I notice a little leaf curl but they do look healthy. I did have a major f-up: while trying to bend a top note on the MT ,it snapped off! Lesson learned; the branches can be very brittle where extending from the main stem.

Day 42: I’ve been working to keep the canopy even. The GroBuckets water reservoir seems to last about four days. These girls seem happy. The leaf cul went away. I raised the lights and backed off the LEDs to 90%. ( guess). The plants have really responded. I’m glad I went with two plants in my 2.3x2.3 tent. Its really filling in!
