Hey guys and gals. After a 7 month hiatus I decided to try this grow thing again.

I did .....or attempted 3 grows last year and they progressively got worse which in turn was very discouraging. I thought I'd give it another go and well, so far....okay. Not too happy.

My setup: 2x4x7 tent, 6" scrubbed exhale, passive intake. 2 Mars-Hydro 96x5 LED's, 3 gal pots with FF Happy Frog amended with perlite and dolomite lime. I've fed once with 2.5 ml/gal of AN Sensi a/b bloom and 3 ml/gal Calmag. (Tangs Easy Schedule). They were fed last Monday with only two waterings since birth.

I am running a Nirvana Bubblelicious, a Nirvana No. Lights, An Autoflower Portal Blackstone and a Mephisto Toof Decay. The nirvana's and Blackstone are 30 days old with the Toof decay at 19 days. All have had an attempted Fim except for the Toof decay. Please pay no attention to the F'd up leaves that are a result of the Fim.

Currently I'm experiencing some issues. Please look at the pics and tell me what ya think. Are the turned up serrated portions of the leaves light stress? I had my light initially at 24-28 inches but recently moved them to 30+ inches as the girls just seem to be stressing to me. Their leaves look light, some signs of Calmag deficiency and overall....limp.

My RH for the first 2 weeks was 50-75. Now it's 25-40. Once I put in the scrubber, it was pointless to run the humidifier. My temps are maintaining 67-78.

Please take a gander and tell me what you see. I think that these lights may be a bit too much for them. I'm half tempted to go back to my 96x3's.

Please add any advice, comments and opinions or questions. One day I hope to get this right.

Everything I'm finding is suggesting that the tips curling is possibly light stress. I'm going to raise my lights to 36" tomorrow as well as they are ready for a feed, except for the Toof decay. Her pots still heavy.

As far as feed, I'm leaning towards 4ml/gal Sensi a&b, 4ml cal mag, 1 ml boomerang (for the stress) and some silica blast. Sound okay?

Wish me luck. I don't know how you guys get these tremendously gorgeous lush bushes when all I can grow are stunted freaks. Lol.

Next weekend I'm going to start my next 4 girls so I can keep this somewhat perpetual. Not sure what I'm going to sprout yet though.

....just a blind old man stumbling in the dark......

Grow notes:

Last Saturday, the girls were looking worse. I do believe that it was light stress. The Nirvana's especially were looking terrible. On Sunday I fed them and switched my lights out for the 96x3's. Too much too soon?!? Sunday afternoon.......yikes! I honestly didn't think they would survive the night as the were very wilted. I honestly thought that the next morning when I looked in on them that I would see dry crispy critters. Monday morning, they looked so much better! Relief!

Currently the Toof Decay and the Blackstone are kicking butt. Toof decided to explode over the last couple days and she is looking like a very happy camper. The Blackstone is also looking very lush and healthy. She's a bit stunted but as I read more info, I think the cooler temps have slowed her down as well as the Fim. She is sporting 4 mains but note to self: until I can get a few grows in where I feel I did good....No more Fimming! The nirvana's...well, they are looking wimpy and not much going on there. They were stressed pretty bad and so I'm not expecting much from them.

I am NOT giving up damn it! :cuss:

My temps have been pretty cool with a high of 75, lows in the low 60's. I've heard that this can be good but also I've read that I'll get more vigorous growth with warmer temps. As well as with higher temps, the girls can handle stronger lights. As my RH is on the low end, warmer temps and stronger lights .....I've read this can be very productive and so figuring this may be a good combination to experiment with. I'm moving the girls upstairs this weekend where it is a bit warmer as well as for some odd reason.....I feel safer.

Either this weekend or next, I'm also going to start germination on 4 more girls. NOW I just need to decide which soil and pots to use and who the lucky girls will be.

.....thanks for stopping by.

Good Morning Lads and Lassies! Not much of an update but an update nonetheless. After a week and a half of major PH issues and my ignorance, I finally think I've figured it out and the girls are back on track!

Toofy at 33 days and 8"

Blackstone at 44 days and a whopping 5.5" .....but beautiful and lush!

They appear to all be back on track and plowing forward! I think I have learned quite a bit with this grow. Soon I'll be introducing you to a couple Amnesia Stones and 2 Auto Blues!

Thanks for stopping in. Luv you guys!

Subbed up PappaMunch! :pop: I love me some MarsHydros, but to be honest, my young ones seem to have better growth when I was using just 1 MarsHydro in the general area, but with 2 42 watt cfls hanging on a splitter about 12 - 14 inches directly over top of them. I had huge leaves, vibrant color and faster growth using them ... just something to think about! :smoking:

Thanks N4W! Yeah...I've noticed I get a much better start with CFL's which is what I plan on doing with my newbies that are just popping out.

I meant to mention that there was 3 different strains I was talking about, FB Blackberry Kush, THC Bomb, and COC RoboCrop. Here is a pic I took 2 days ago and it was there third day outside. They popped on May 11. This is my transition table for acclimation and they are in the front, in the white grow bags.

So glad you had success with cfl's before. You know I forgot to put the disclaimer about my results are mine, yours may vary. Please seek other advice before you rely on my meager experience, lol

Thanks so much for the rep slap, Here let me hit you back, you deserve it more ... :pimphand:
