Hey all! Looking for some help with my 15 day old Zamaldelica Express.
She is looking BIZARRE. Growing asymmetrically and some of the leaves are wilting. She's in 70% coco 30% perlite. Fed with Mega Crop only at 1.5g/gal (0.56 EC) with a pH of 5.9. Last time i fed her was Day 13 since i figured i should wait for the coco to dry a tiny bit. Can anyone help diagnose?

@Waira you know your pH / fertigation stuff...any ideas?

Coco shouldn't be dry at any time, now you know
You cannot over water coco btw.
Did you condition the coco prior to planting?
It's not a big issue really.
If you didn't, the plant will slowly show signs of a calcium or magnesium deficiency.
This will slow down growth, but not kill the plant perse.
If you're in panic mode waiting for others to answer this thread.
Start by preparing a water mix with some calmag and wet the rest of the coco in the meantime.
A 6ml calmag solution in 1 gallon is fine.
Also,.
MegaCrop will do you good for both calcium and magnesium depending on the version you're using
I've yet to overfeed with MC.
Also...
PH your water the best you can to around 6 and you'll be fine.
Try and wet all of the coco untill you get some run off through the pot from over watering.
This is the best approach when working in coco.

thank you! I read from another growers journal that algae on your perlite is a sure sign of overwatering, so I thought that might be what’s happening? What would you say might be the reason for the drooping and asymmetry?
I can water her tomorrow! If I do, would you recommend calmag only or calmag and MC?

Best results will be a 100ppm mix of whatever calmag....then 400ppm of MC ( total being 500 to 600 ppm).
I need to say, 400ppm of MC is a very good starting point.
You need to adjust the feed to what your plants like best.
