Just read about leaf stripping and thought I'd try that - have I overdone it?
Check out the flushing 'rig'.

short answer:
she looks fine, so she probably is ...

detailed answer:
depends how old she is and how long she has to go as well as the temperature/humidity.
usually defoliation (removing the fan leaves) only really helps if they don't have any other problems
but in a room that's not too dry or two hot on plants mid to late flower then it can really shine.
its hard to say without knowing the humidity/temperature and the age of the girl. ( knowing the name of the variety might also help)
still she looks healthy enough and fairly into the flower stage so it shouldn't hurt and its always fun to try.

Its a Sweet seeds auto Gorilla girl at day 58. Temps range from 17.4 - 26.3 celcius, himidity goes very high after watering but is generally 65 - 79. Water consumption is much reduced after the strip, not surprising as I pulled a huge amount you leaves off. Pistils are on turning brown but the trichomes are about 80% clear. On paper my girls should be dead this week (week9) but they look like there's a couple of weeks in them. Never done defoliation or stripping and find the idea mental - so obviously I gave it a go. They didn't die overnight I just hope the girls are happy enough to do their beautiful thing - then die.

sounds like your doing a great job, they certainly look the part for week 9.
seed firms always say 9 weeks often shapes out more like 12 especialy if your after some nice amber trichomes.
temps sound fantastic as for the higher humidity that's probably better at least directly after defoliation. run her till the trichomes look like what you want then drop the humidity to about 40/45% and no lower than 30/35% for the last day or two of her life she should get a little sticky.
these girls are in week 8 as of tomorrow they will get a light defoliation in the next few days then again more aggressively at week 10 when she starts getting clear water for 2 weeks.

Thank you. I think I'll be less aggressive in future - I was inspired by something by something I've read.
Your plants look very healthy, and big. Great stuff, cheers.
