Grow Mediums Outdoor grow journals needed for reference

I'm getting started to set up my outdoor grow - but not yet decided on;

- medium
- XL tray with a white plastic pot OR an and DIY ez to grow system with an Autopot valve in a covered garden tray feeding 1 girl in a white pot

I plan on continuing to use GH nutes (as with my current indoor grow).

For research/reference can you all (autopot users) list links of outdoor grow journals? I tried searching but results were all over the place...Thanks!
