Welcome to AFN!
Please try not to post new threads in all caps though.

nope, not familiar with WoW's seed.

Outdoors: Yea, Ya want some South sun. Most I see throw them in direct sun, but I like just a touch of shade. 2 gallons of soil for a Hole/Pot should suffice. Bubbled water makes a world of difference.

Here are some great Soil Recipes:

Welcome to AFN!

I haven't grown any auto's outdoors. I have grown some photo's outdoors, when I lived in Texas and you're right, it gets very hot! I have a friend still living there that usually grows a plant or two a year in a place that probably gets 7-9 hrs of direct, overhead sunlight. It does get pretty good indirect light for the rest of the daylight hours. That's probably not much help but, like I said, I haven't got any experience outdoors with auto's.

We do have a number of outdoor growers and hopefully one of them will drop by soon with a more definitive answer. :peace:

hello everyone!

Welcome aboard. Glad to see another outdoor grower!

The more direct light they can get the better. There is no right or wrong way to do it, simply put the more light it gets the better the growth/yield; less light is less growth/yield. Plant with it facing south. Make sure the east and west sides are somewhat clear so shadows don't effect the plant; or minimize as many obstructions as you can. Outside "Ryder" Autos get between 20"-22" tall (55 cm) from my personal experience. So if you are trying to hide the plant, don't bury it deep in shrubs and not allow any light on them....take that into consideration.

I've seen 100+ (F) and my outside autos havent flinched at all. Keep the soil well aerated and don't over water. I haven't experienced any heat issues and I've been at 93 (F) + for months.

No experience with the Mango's, but I have done several runs of other WOS strains. They have their genetics down prettty good. You should be fine. Read up and try to eliminate as many rookie mistakes as you can. Autos are quite easy to grow; especially outside. Just make sure to use good aerated soil. I use Miracle Grow moisture control and add perlite (a lot). I use about 3 gallons of soil/perlite per plant and never had a problem. I water as needed but typically every 3-5 days, even in the scorching heat.

Thanks everybody!! i really appreciate it!! i will post up picture as soon as i get my grow going!! i will order the seeds friday!!..

I had a Jock Horror AF make it through 115 F this summer and it still turned out ok.
