So my question would be .. If you have a female autoflower that you heat stress to cause some balls, then introduce another female autoflower plant to the tent to be pollenated would those seeds she creates then be female?

In theory, I would say yes, as this is the same process as used to make auto fems - but using silver rather than heat.

My only issue is the heat stress, and whether that would cause any issues down the line.

female hermie x female = all females, many of which will likely be hermie. If you want to reverse a female, you should use cs or sts.

In any case, if you are using robust genetics, you may not produce pollen, just stunt your girl. Good breeders deliberately attempt to breed out the tendency to hermie under stress.

Using herms to breed is what got us in this mess of having herms in all our great lines. Many moons ago about the time we were forced indoors, people discovered that herms made female seeds & more herms....
Personally, if it herms it gets culled.
CS or STS will give you all femmed seeds without the risk of intentionally passing on an undesired trait.

Using silver is not anything like using heat.

Silver keeps the female hormone from being produced in the plant.
That is not the process when a plant herms.

I got a couple hundred good seeds or dinafem white widow XXL that was pollinated by a mephisto samsquanch og that hermied on me. Grew one plant and it turned out great. Didnt hermie. I had a rocbudinc purple roc BX1 that hermied on me and gave me about 12 good seeds. Started 2. Both were female. One I stunted. Was my mistake. And another was mutant. Plucked it. Will experiment more as I grow.
