How do you guys prevent mold on buds?
I have 34°C in tent, 40% humidity, 2 fans (80W) in 80x80cm tent. And I still got mold today when I chop one plant.
Because I got mold.. I was thinking to buy another intake fan (20W) and throw away oscilating fans in my tent which consumes 80W and only mix air. So intake fan will bring more fresh air into tent. I cannot set up exhaust fan because I have already one on carbon filter so I guess if I add another, it won't filter air and it will smell. So intake, right? But then I'll have positive pressure in tent, not negative. What to do, what's best option for me? I don't think oscilating fans are beneficial in tents. I have silica to strenghten plants, no need for fan. Other than that I don't see any benefits, anyone?

I use 6" clip on fans. One for each plant. I run two bungee cords inside each tent wall top to bottom and I clip the fans to them. I have very low humidity.

well definitely helps the air flow and it reduces temps for whole 2 celsius ....and yeah, definitely prevents mold!

but tell me please about that silica strengthening(how much, when to apply, where to look for it?)
because I have oscillating fans and still my plant tend to fall over at the end of flower?! I am aware that they are fattening up but it starts to go out of control and it's annoying :D
:toke:

Would a dehumidifier work for you?

Personally I swear to these, and I've tried me fair share..... , oscillating reduce the risk of dead spots with poor air movement.... 2 in a 120x120 floats me boats and the power draw is just right for the effect, even at low speed, and easy to hang/position....

.... Until something better comes along, or I feel the need to splash the retirement savings on Dyson fanless gear or similar.... Lol
