Hi, I want to show you what I am thinking about for my Mi5 (or maybe onyx) -organic- grow. Im hoping to get some advise from the experts and maybe help the more newbs get into the idea of a feeding sched a bit easier..
So here we go:
Day -3: This is a soil mix. I am thinking about filling my bucket with:
-55% regular potting soil (contains 15% perilite, mid N - low P - high K +other basic elements). ~will add a bunch of tiny stones as I know the perilite is not enough
- 25% Grinded Coffee beans. (this gives a boost of N, since it should be high)
- 20% organic compost, probably the type for tomatoes or roses.
- 1L of water with 0.5-1 tspn of molasses. (this will get the healthy microlife going).
Day 0: I will flush the soil slightly, test the Ph of the water that poors out with ph strips and adjust it if needed keeping germination on hold until its where I need it to be.
Day 1: Throughly mist soil with plain ph tested water and plant rooted seed* [paper-towel method].
Week 3(should I start earlier?): Apply commercial vegative nutes at 1/5 Str, and re-apply once or twice a week raising the dose each time ..until well into pre-flower stage (the plant has shown sex, as nice long white pistils indicate future bud sites, most people would call first day of flowering I think).
Week 1 of Flowering: Apply commercial Bloom nutes at 1/4 strength, once or twice a week - raising the dose gradually as long as there are no signs of nute burn).
Week 2 of Flowering: I will add 1L of H2O + 0.5-1 tspn of molases.
Week 7 of Flowering: Re-apply the same dose of molasses.
Heavy flush: I will do a heavy water flush 6 days before the 'official harvest date', though I imagine I will harvest at least 1 week later.
Light flush: I will flush lightly 1 day before placing my girl in a dark dry enviroment (potted) for 4-5 days. Then I will harvest her(am I wuss to feel kind of sad when that happens? ).
p.s. my connection dropped just while posting this the first time and i lost all my text.. so annoying if you know what i mean :firedevil: :firedevil:
p.s.2: I will post a few products I am thinking about using as veg and bloom fertilizer, hope to get some help picking the best.
