Hey all, I planted this from seed February 22 inside a small grow tent in my basement (I live in extreme northern Maine). It was a mystery seed I thought was an auto but obviously not. It is in a 7 gallon fabric planter and has been moved outside to finish off. My question is should I do more pruning? I understand the idea is to let as much light as possible reach all the leaves but I don't want to overdo it. Thanks!

If I were in your boots, I would minimize the trimming except to ensure good air circulation. Outdoors, the sun will get at most leaves at some point during the day, so the issue of shading is less important than indoors, IMHO.

If mould is a big risk there, I would get a poly roof over her to keep her from getting rained on, and maybe add a fan to move air through the canopy.

Good luck with it - healthy looking plant by the way. :pighug:

Thanks for replying. We have had an unusually hot and dry (currently in drought) summer so I'm not worried about mold at this point!

My better half would trade our weather for yours in a heartbeat. We have been setting records in the other direction - wet, wetter, and cool or cold. My one weed plant in the "greenhouse" may be doomed. I have a fan on her, but I expect that it will not be sufficient at these RH levels (currently at 96%). Same thing last summer, although this time around I managed to defeat the slugs and gnats.

You in the northwest?

That is one huge province! Our states record high and low is 105F and -50F. I detest cold wet weather and we get our share of it.
