Ongoing odour control issue

Hey AFN family! Im on my second indoor grow. My current setup is 36x20x60 inch no name tent purchased on amazon. A 4x15 can-lite filter with 177CFM fan, and 600 watt viparspectra LED. Currently getting a significant amount of odour escaping the tent with 3 autoflowers on the grow. I, a little confused as to why as the odour is escaping based on my current setup. I'm using ona throughout my apartment and it helps but im hoping to improve upon this. I'm wondering if because of the low quality tent the odour is escaping. But that doesnt really make any sense because there is definitely negative pressure in the tent. Any suggestions?????

Thanks in advance!!!!

First thing I'd do is blow smoke through the whole vent system see if there are any leaks in the ducting etc [emoji869]

Just double checking that the fan is blowing in the correct direction. The filter is about 225cfm so it's in good shape as far as that goes with the fan. It should be functioning well. What speed is the fan currently? Are your tent sides pushing in when closed up?

If odor didn't escape with your last grow and you're using the same filter I would suspect your carbon is depleted and you need a new filter.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Turns out the access holes for electric at the bottom of the tent did not have their drawstrings pulled. I corrected that and will update soon

And it's back. It's been stinky all through flower. Any suggestions

Buy an air purifier. They help with odor a lot.

Any suggestions?

Ive never had a problem with odour as my ventilation system seems to never leak or anything but I stick ONA Gel inside the the exhaust ducting after the filter and fan obviously[emoji1787] but really does circulate what ever flavour you buy around the house
