One Nute for Differing Plants

Hey All,

I realized late that I sorta goofed by not anticipating the differing nute dynamics for differing plants. With multiple plants of identical strains itsa non-issue, but wattya do when you're feeding 2 different strains? Are both sorta suffering non-optimal performance by having to share some averaging out of the nute schedule? It's my first grow and next time I won't do this, but is there some non-obvious way to optimize a nute schedule for different strains w/ different needs? Otherwise all I can do is keep upping nute solus under the maintained equilibrium approach methinks. Maybe not a big deal, but maybe not optimal either. Cheers

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but NPK is NPK. If a plant is showing signs of deficiency you adjust accordingly.

I generaly have 3 plants at different ages in the cupboard.so all feeds different.2 plants same age could be same plant diff pheno or not.
Its a happy medium.if one plant is a tad too green water down the feed a touch,if a tad yellow up them.

Yeah it's the happy medium kinda thing I guess I expected. The question isn't too much different than growin 2 plants of differing heights (same age) with only one light. But yeah Devil, that was what I became aware of--that one plant might be doin well while same nutes for the other strain weren't enough or were too high, etc. Peace

I try and group genetics, indica tends to eat more for me than sativa leaning strains.

But... like now I have a couple of big eaters and 1 not so much. She is fed separately.

Otherwise you end up adjusting your levels for the most finicky girl, and very possibly loose out on production from the others that could handle it.

You would rather underfeed some, then top up those who need higher level of nutes

I'm reading your guys thread and thanks Archie I got 18 autoflowers going and one out of all of them the dark devil is yellow and they're already getting full Newt plus guess I'll increase her then
