New Grower One more Question about lighting...

First time indoor autoflower grower. I have a few years experience in full season outdoor,but newbie to indoor tent growing. So I'm not clear on if I need to do a Veg bulb than got to a HPS bulb after a few weeks. I already have a HPS bulb and was wanting to use it for the whole growing cycle. Any input would be appreciated!

You can defiantly use the HPS bulb the entire grow. The optimal performance and spectrum in Veg would come from the blue spectrum given off by a metal halide but if ya don't have the loot for an additional bulb atm then don't sweat it brother the HPS will do the trick

Thanks again A Train! I swapped out that 400w for a 600w (from last nights question) and was in my local hydro shop thought about picking up a halide, but I am on a budget so decided against it. Excited to get this going tomorrow!
