Outdoor Oldster Tests Swampman's Genetics

Hi folks,

Swampman was nice enough to send me some seeds to test. Started 3 each of:

MC which is an F2
Josie which is an F3

Got 100% germ on the two varieties and they are doing well. Here is a day 13 shot from when they were first put into paper towels.



They are currently under T8's growing in Pro-mix with added perlite

Off to a great start oldster! What is the brand or pot and pot stand you have? Pretty slick! You running HP or BX on the pro mix and at what ph of your feed?

Hi guys and welcome.

Briman, it's Promix LP15, comes is 40 lb compressed bales that I can normally get for $18 bale. The pots are just recycled pots and trays that we got bedding plants in. I really like them they are 4 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep so they offer enough depth for the tap root to grow. I pH my water to 6.5 to 6.7 and add cal/mag to it.

Day 18 Update

Six happy plants that are growing well. Roots are starting to grow out the bottom of the pots so will repot soon. They got their first dose of nutes and cal/mag 2 days ago.

Happy Saturday AFN, the babies are at day 25, all have showed sex and I have 5 girls and 1 boy. Plants are looking healthy although one of the MC's is shorter and more compact than the other 2.

Swampy, do you mind if I try a selfing of one of the Josie girls with the male? Also anything you can share about the background of MC and Josie

Swamp was one of the guys that really went out of his way to welcome me back in April...Even nominated my Dark Devil for BOM/POM...

It'll be nice to see his gear under your stewardship Plus, I'll be growing out some of MC's cousins this winter
