is this mould or what ya think? i am a bit late on my Rotblock application. Humidity normally in 45-50% region. recently been experimenting with far less airflow/wind. also dehumidifer went offline about 1-2 hours and RH spiked to 65%. afterwardsback to normal. been meaning to damn rotblock (weekly basis) and now see this.

looks like it to me. airflow can be very key to prevention and in many cases ime. plus the surrounding environment too. but I dont have too many issues with mold and fungal issues since I grow indoors. typically an outdoor issue more times than not. if not?its most likely something somewhere indoors thats helping or causing it.

thanks, never seen mould before but can kind of see the "spores" (no idea if that is correct word).

i have rotblock which is preventatiove bacteria which takes the space on the plant before the mould can. im guessing this wont work in this situation but will def slow it down. would u recommend any other application? im happy to just harvest it and use for bubble hash anyway...but would like to try and battle the mould tbh...

screw it. gonna spray with rotblock. save my other plant and harvest once dry from spray. remove all signs of PM? from plant and run the other through bubble hash. lesson learnt sir you are correct.

Yep, looks like powdery mildew to me,
There are all sorts of home made solutions if you google it,
H2O2, milk, mouthwash, baking soda and non-detergent soap.
I've personally used the H2O2 and water, as well as milk and water, I wouldn't use the milk unless outdoors as it smells wicked funky, but it does work amazing
Happy growing :goodluck:

That is powdery mildew. If you are in a tent, it's time to do a full reset. Those mold spores are airborne and can lay dormant for months. Everything needs to be cleaned. Fans, pots, tent walls, everything.. I can't advise you on what to do with your plants.. I had powdery mildew once and burned everything. I grow for meds and there is no way I'm consuming any plant with any trace of mold. Once you can see the mold, then just know that there are large populations of mold spores all over that you cant see with the naked eye yet. One colony can release millions of spores in under a week.. It's nasty stuff.. Hopefully rotblock helps.

Yes sir. Isolated the infected room as much as possible. Trying to save what has been harvested already, all looks fine what is in jars for sure, did 2 hours inspection this morning and only finished the first jar hahaha. Other stuff still in brown bags, will be inspected later. trying to avoid cross contamination at all costs. Damn, what a pain, its like running around the house imagining there is coronavirus everywhere!!!

After initial harvest is confirmed saved and ok, i will only then re-enter tent room and begin several rounds over coming 2 weeks of full decontamination. Sprayed plants and most of tent with Rotblock and removed some bad branches/leaves last night. I will try to save my finished plant and the one that had the infection on is going in the trash (although i sadly understand my fav by far best plant may be a goner already). Anything that will be smoked will be checked with a 30x scope to be sure. Quick read on smoking mould is scary enough..

I think I can prevent this again as i did earlier in this batch. Dont decrease my airflow again, dont let humidity rise like it did even for a brief period and if it does spray immediately (had been meaning to do it and just didn't get around to it. good performance in first batch of harvest made me complacent.

p.s. prob going to just ditch the tent and pick up a new one. will desinfect every single thing in the room though.

i wonder is there something i should/can do for the normal white room walls cos i cant burn my house down haha? was planning on cleaning everything with 70% iso. will running the dehumidifier at max setting kill the spores or just make them unable to spread? going to grab an air purifier at least, as dust in outside air is an issue already and im guessing mould travels on the dust.

Done multiple hours of inspection with a scope on EVERY SINGLE bud and not a sign of any mould at all. All is dried and now curing in jars :)

Thanks everyone and @RotBlock is king!

Can someone help me diagnose these leaf symptoms? Pretty please

start a patient thread mate, and fill in the patient info form in the Sticky article section above this one; just c/p it into your thread and fill in the info that's needed for a good diagnosis... off the cuff, it looks like a K issue.....
