Hi there,

I am needing some help guys. I am on week 4 of a grow right now with a pile of different autos. I guess I was a little hasty introducing bloom nutrients, as from what I have now read I should be continuing veg nutrients until around week 6 or 7 as apparently my girls are about to go through a growth spurt? problem being I started bloom nutrients as soon as I saw sex appear. So now my plants have all had 2 bloom feedings and no veg nutes for about 9 days.

What will I do? Have I unknowingly screwed up the upcoming "spurt"? Shall I reintroduce veg nutes and stop bloom nutes? Really on a bit of a downer here so any help would be greatly appreciated

Peace B

Alright there doctor.

Chances are you'll be fine, tang, who is an experienced grower on this forum has a feeding schedule that's uses bloom nutes all way through from day 10 to finish.
Maybe just keep an eye out for any nitrogen def. as she will probably use fair bit during stretch.
Depending on what range of nutrients your using will effect this though, I use advanced nutrients and there isn't really much difference between their grow and bloom with regards to NPK levels. I'm not too familiar with other brands of nutrients though. Have you got any more details as to what you're using? Also some pictures.

Cheers
Marty

Cheers Marty,

This is what I used at the beginning

Side on picture, sorry

I ran out of that stuff after using it twice as it was a bottle I had previously been using for photos. I had no access to anything else apart from MG all purpose stuff so used that 1 time before switching to this

I have enough of this stuff left to last me and have the MG stuff there too, it's like 24 - 8 - 16 I think. I will post some pics of plants in a moment, just going to take a few.

Heres the ladies

Here she is again

What will I do regarding the veg feed? and the bloom feed? and now this plant also?

That yellowing plant to me looks like you have some pH problems with it. Appart from that everything looking great. If you've flushed the roots and changed to bloom I would just stick with bloom. If you haven't flushed and just fed bloom by mistake, I would probably just continue to feed veg until you feel they're ready for bloom nutrients.

Nice setup though

Thanks m8,

Just checked the ph

I am going to add some ph down from now on and aim for 6.5, it comes out the tap fairly neutral so tbh I haven't really been keeping an eye on ph, just took it for granted as never had problems before. There is 37 mixed autos in the room and after this it looks like it may be a challenge keeping them all happy.

Oh man, growing 37 different plants!! I don't envy you at all!!!
I have a hard enough job with 4 in my 60 x 60 tent!
I never check pH, ever. I have nice soft water when I live, and use AN pH perfect nutes. Never had any problems with them. Although I do think they're starting to get a bit old now, had them for nearly 2 years!

I don't work and I have the time but no way would try 37 much less different strains. It is hard enough with plants of the same strain which can be touchy to different things much less 37 different strains.

I am on week 3 heading into 4 and I have a 3 part that uses bloom through the whole grow. I used them for two or three feedings. I remembered no bloom till week 6 or when ever the stretch slows down so I just quit adding them in. I would not worry too much and if it does then it's more real world info plus I doubt the end weight will suffer from two feedings of bloom. I don't know enough to state it as fact just throwing it out there,I wouldn't stress too much although it can be hard not to.

I always ph every drop of water that touches the soil even if it is tap water to feed or if it is in a spray bottle and just used to spray the top soil (that's just the OCD popping up as far as the spray bottle goes). Ph fluctuations are the reason for many nutrient deficiencies which lead to leaf problems, 6.0 to 6.8 is a good range ,I prefer to go by 6.0 to 6.5 personally. Ph runoff test is an indication of how your water, fertilizer and grow medium are interacting if you ph comes out of the soil at 6.5 it most likely the soil is 6.2 ,a couple marks lower. If it is too high then come down a bit, they like a low amount of acidity in the root zone for the nute uptake. Ph control and consistency are the base of growing Imho. Cool grow though and the rest look good you should have a good crop plus you have quite a few so if that gets too bad just chop it no use concentrating on one out of 37. Make it as stress free as you can,I still am working on that myself.
