I am approaching week 7 this Saturday. I have been following FD's feeding sched. The last feeding was on week 6. Is this yellowing normal? Its only on a couple of my plants. However some of the others have yellow tips on the leaves. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or a salt build up/nute lock problem? I cant seem to find many pics of these issues. Anyone know any good places for pics or symptoms? I will no longer be feeding, it will be only water from here on out. Also I have never watered enough to water to come out of the bottoms of my pots. Maybe a flush is in order?

It's more likely a pH issue. I assume since you haven't been giving them enough water to get some run off that you haven't been checking the pH. That's the first thing that needs to be done. Yes, it could be a deficiency or salt buildup but you still want to know your pH before you do anything else.

In the future I would suggest you always give them enough water/feed to get 10% run off. By doing that you will eliminate any possible salt buildup issues. I also check my pots after I chop the plants. White deposits on the inside of the pots are salts and indicate they haven't been getting enough water to flush them out.

I use a Control Wizard PH meter. Soil PH is at an even 6.6-6.8. I ALWAYS PH my water that goes in my soil. Will hitting them with pure water from here on out help? The yellowing dont seem to be spreading fast at all. Could this be normal yellowing due to fan leaves dying bc of age?

Great that you have the Accurate 8, love mine. So much easier than checking run off. You're a bit high on the pH, should be between 6.3 - 6.5. They are too young to be having the leaves yellow and die off because of age. That shouldn't start until around week 8. I would suggest a good flush with water pHed to around 6. Then give them a day or two and check the pH again. If there is a bit of salt buildup that will flush it out.

Will do brother! Should I wait until my soil is completely dry then hit them with some pH water or do it now while its still somewhat wet?

I wouldn't wait, I'd hit them now.

pic number two leaf at bottom of pic looks like spider mites? hope not!:peace:

Another thing I noticed is after I pH my water with pH up and down from GH. If I let my water sit for 10-15min and retest it. I find the pH goes back up...weird. Astronomy...i hope not! I use to use neem on them but stopped bc it would leave white reside on my leaves.

scope it! you got something to look with? i hope i am wrong!
