Hey all,

I have a MSG Fruit Punch (Critical Orange Punch Bx) and its on day 43. She looks like she is in pre-flower but that's it. All my other autos in previous runs and this run but this one flower weeks before this. Do you think if I let it ride out it will flower at 18/6? Or do you think it needs 12/12? Not wanting to effect the yields of other autos in tent and not having a flower tent, it would mean the difference between letting this one ride or pitching it and making room for others.

Thanks!

Do you have enough wattage overhead to go to 12/12 and maintain your current DLI?

I don't know. I am not familar with that unit of measurement or DLI to be honest. I am running a Mars Hydro TSL2000 in a 4x2. I guess the debate is how much yield will I lose in my 5 current autoflowering plants on week 6 and in flower if I flip to 12/12 now and if the yield from this Fruit Punch would be greater than the total yield lost to the light change on the other 5. I normally average 2.5-6 oz per auto in these 3 gallon pots. So if keeping the Fruit Punch and flipping will cover the spread that would be best bet I guess. But I am open to opinions.

Are you running your lamps at full wattage currently? DLI is daily light integral. So to equal the DLI of the 18 hour you would need to increase your wattage to essentially match the 18 hours in the 12 hours. That way no loss of production occurs. That's how I run my photos. Usually not an issue with autos since you run the same hours the whole grow. Thats one advantage of autos. You can make decent bud with lower wattage because you run more hours in flower vs photo unless you increase the DLI for photo flowering. Lowering the light is the alternative but you lose coverage. That's why they have smaller coverage for flowering in specs.

if shes not in flower by day 55 i would start to worry i have 4 small autos just going into flower now day 45

I have to agree that the yield of the many outweigh the needs of the one. That said, you might try 16/8. She looks like she wants to flower?

That makes me feel alittle better. All of my autos have all gone by the 30 day mark or so at latest. She looks like she wants to go for sure.

My first auto grow last year finished around day 140, took forever to get good pistils coverage....for 70 day plants.

I had a friend growing some ilgm seeds I think and one of the plants started flowering around week 8. It had preflowers for a long time
