Hey guys I've recently completed my first grow and thought I'd throw up a smoke report just as a resource for anyone thinking about growing the same strain.

SeedBank :

Delicious Seeds

Strain:

Northern Lights Blue (Northern Lights x Blueberry)

Did it autoflower?:

Yes

Soil/hydro:

Soil

Nutes:

Plant Magic Oldtimer Organic Range.

Light (kind and schedule):

Grownorthern MS0006 LED (250w) 24/0 start to finish.

From seed to harvest date:

82/85 days

Dry Yield:

105g (two plants) 63g / 42g

High/Effect Duration:

This strain packs a very powerful punch even when grown by an amateur. I believe myself to have a high tolerance to marijuana yet one decent sized joint had me stoned for almost 2 hours, and that never happens to me - genuinely shocked (in a great way). My friends have also found themselves in similar situations after sampling my harvest.

In-depth

RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: ****

I've only given it a 4/5 because I feel like to get a 5 it should have super bright colours like a rainbow. That being said the bud is very green and super frosty, beter than anything I've bought on the street in the past couple years. I'll let you use the picture for reference and you can decide :)

THE GROWTH: ****

Again with the 4 stars, purely because these are the first autos of grown so I have nothing to compare them to, I made a few mistakes throughout the grow but was still nothing but satisfied by the performance of the strain. I believe in the right hands it has the potential to get very tall and very fat - something for me to aim for. (I think the infamous Tang has a nice picture of one he grew, worth checking out, it inspired me)

THE SMELL: *****

The smell is amazing, everyone that has seen it and had a whiff has commented on the fruity dankness of the strain. Sometimes you get hints of blueberry and other summer fruits, sometimes lemons which was a nice surprise. At this stage it's only been curing for a week so I imagine the taste and smell are going to develop with time - which is cray to think about because it smells so damn sweet! Also the smell between the two plants varied slightly, my smaller plant was more citrus scented whilst the other was full on blueberry - but they both taste similar when smoked.

THE SMOKE: *****

As mentioned above it has only been curing for 1 week but the intensity of the strain requires me to keep putting down my joint for 5/10 minutes at a time to avoid any "negative" side affects, i.e the whitie :P Given it 5 stars (probably biased) just because of how pleased I am with the end result, it blows the street pot out of the water around here.

THE HIGH: *****

Very pleasant high, I harvested maybe a couple weeks early but there were still a few amber trichs on the bigger plant. I've never been to Amsterdam or anywhere that you can smoke without hassle really but my friends insisted my weed was "dam quality" which in all honesty made me a bit giddy, they didn't know I had grown it until I soaked up all the compliments :D
It's kind of hard to describe the high since everyone knows what it is to be high! There was a nice combination of head high and couch lock, either way when you choose to smoke it you know you shouldn't have anything planned for the next few hours at least, because chances are you won't do it. Only other time I've been this knocked back by weed was an Amnesia Haze cured for 4 and a half months - also dro ;)

Nice writeup man! I have to agree , this has five star bag appeal in my book! I'm surprised it finished as quickly as it did under 24/0 lighting. Might have to try that strain in the future, it sounds good!

Thanks man, I'm really chuffed :D I reckon it could have gone 2-3 weeks longer for a full couch lock indica stone but my tenancy agreement runs out in a few days so had to close up shop so to speak! bit weak but I have high hopes for my second grow now :) :peace:

Those buds look seriously nice my man. Delicious seeds do produce some nice strains, their Fruity Chronic is a nice smoke.
