hi AFN
noobie here, to the site and to the world of growing.

my fingers are green in some sense, but not when it comes to bringing life to my lifes love..

so, having smoked many years, i finally decided to go ahead and find a new hobby, what a better hobby than growing something i absolutely

*edited out some of this*

bla bla lots of boring stuff about fixing up a space lol

add 2 grow tents

cont’d
lol
so i figured it out, was a problem with the image so i took a ss and here we are lol

so this will be intended for flower area, with 3/4 quantum boards along the top, they will sit nice and high in that peak, but as you can see my height is limited all round :)
hence the need for lots of training, which as you will find out as we go on this journey, i have taken an immediate hands on approach with!!

the two tents are 120/60/150 and 50/50/100,
i am hoping to get a psycosis clone which i will grow and keep a mother from, utilising the 50/50/100 for a perpetual psycho family :)

the 120/60/150 i will use to seed and veg and then move into the flower area, hopefully keeping a perpetual cycle, hopefully ;)

so that was 5 weeks 2 days ago it started, my friend germinated 6 seeds for me that following week and 30 days ago 4 were ready to plant, a day later the 5th, the last never germinated

so we have 2 royal haze autoflowers, these seeds came from bud off of a royal haze auto grown outdoors last year, i think some stress induced a plant to pollenate itself and gave a couple of seeds.
2 photo gas og (the 6th disposed seed was also a gas)
and a critical og

running pure coco
10l fabric pots
2x 600w vander led
1x marsh hydro 240w
1x chinese 600w led
(coming) 1x qb288 561c 3500k with intention of 2/3 more in the near future
using ionic coco grow/bloom
vitalink calmag
hornets super roots
ro or distilled only, ro 40ppm (remineralised)
distilled 2ppm

so i didnt water them in the coco for 4 days, i didnt know a thing at the start and only started learninng that first week lol
so day 4 they were given straight tap water :/
day 5 straight tap water

learned some stuff

day 6 started feed schedule !!
dw 2ppm
calmag 100ppm
coco grow 150ppm
super roots .5ml pl
200ml each daily for a week

started 2 times feeding after about 2 weeks, same ppm just more volume through the day

saw some very slighht nute burn on the first true leaves after a couple das of feeding but at the time i wasnt ph’ng, noticed after a few more days some rust spots from suspected defiency due to not ph’ng feed.
learned something, ph’d always now 5.8-6
lol
no more sign of nute burn for the duration so far to date. ok off to work will continue and add pics later :)

so this was a few days above ground, 2 royal haze autos at the top, 2 gas at the bottom, critical on the right, as said before they had been planted into coco that had been soaked in tap water and left for a few hours, 4 came up a day later the critical last another day later, then no water for 3 days, then 2 days of tap water this pic was taken

another few days, and had been started on canna coco a+b, think i sid started on ionic above, that was after a few days on canna at above stated ratios. i think round this point i had maybe made the switch to the ionic coco

3 days later (14/13 days above ground)
i should mention they were started under 2 vanders only, the mars came around this point, by which they were started to shift, loving the daily food, maybe had upped the nutes a little at this point, little by little

Off to a good start! Welcome to AFN.

Running 288.2 QB's myself (lm301b), always interested to see what others manage to do with them.

Like you, I'm height constrained (48"h tents) - the 228.2's are great for these scenarios. Very slim profile, reduced heat generation and the light intensity (at least at 3000k with an 80 cri) produces some of the tightest nodal structures I've seen.

Here's a DP Glueberry that just went lights out pre-harvest, last of 4 others.
