Harvest & Curing no real smell no reall taste

so ive been taking a few buds from one of my plants at different stages towards chop day. when im at the plants and move them around sometimes i get a nice pungent smell. the buds that ive tried look lovely with crystal all over every where and the last sample i had was twice as sticky as the last but there is no reall smell or taste during when smoked.. could a cure when fully harvested really bring out a smell and a taste if there isnt really one present to begin with.. ?

ok heres a weird thingi just noticed, the little bit of trim that i have gathered from the few buds i have tried, i have been keeping in a jar in the freezer, just trim no bud at all!!! opened jar ans stunk out my kitchen... wtf?? how can the trim smell better that the weed lol..

im no expert, but from what ive read, this is normal, once the curing stage is basically complete, all the "skunkyness" comes right back...so no worries. again, im on my first grow, so im not a pro by any stretch, so you may wanna inquire further~ hope this helps!

sometime if your air flow in your drying room is not good it will give your bud less smell and a more of a hay smelling bud...keep nice good air flow on the buds and it will give them cleaner sweeter smell...urban growers talks about it in the drying and curing vid he just uploaded...but your bud will always smell better when completely fully cured
