Kief from trimmings, in a bowl covered with tightly stretched panty-hose, a coin added to separate the goodies, sifted through and then vaped, goes Whammy-Bloom-Bammy in your brain!

psst..Pass it on...

Good idea! Also you can use bubble bags as a filter for some good dry sift hash (good because you have options for the different sized trichomes of different strains), and if you throw some dry ice in with trim while shaking, it will yield even better!

Hey surffreak! That is the "Down the Road" plan. But right now I'm still being de-virginized in this whole game, so it's just sloooow and eazy...

That's cool, been there man, my 4 piece grinder was my only real source of Kif for a while... :smoke: But you can still use the dry ice to boost yield with your setup, the grocery stores oughta have it for real cheap or free with a purchase.... At the local store it is around 2 bucks a pound which is much more than is needed to run a batch of hash, not to mention dry ice is fun to play with....

Hmm...so you put the trim and coin in panty hose and then shook it over a bowl? Sorry if it's obvious, I havent had my coffee yet lol :coffe: I need a way to collect some kief though because the screen fell out of my grinder.

LOL Roller! Almost. I got the simple idea from this video. It works nice with some real dry trim.

And I was sooooo pleasantly surprised at how much better this was than the stuff you "find" on the street. I am so loving this bright new world. Thanks again AFN!

Dry trim for sure. Throw it in the freezer overnight first. It makes the trics brittle so they break off the vegetable matter easily.

My friend bought a bubble bag setup about a month ago, which now resides in the processing center, my garage! He bought the machine with 4 bags. I had just read about the dry ice method and told him not to buy the machine, but he did anyway. We've used it 3x and have found it works better if you put the water, ice and trim in the machine, run it, then drain it through the bags. Got a lot more that way than putting the bags in the machine. Next run we're going to try the dry ice. The bags are big enough to fit over a 5 gallon bucket which should work great.
