I have 5 Northern light and 3 Quick one from RQS and i was wondering if it's ok to start them indoor in plastic cups and then transplanting them outdoor after like 10 days. I have no hps or led so i was thinking of putting them near the window for these 10 days so that they have some light. Right now temps are 21 celcius in the day and 11 at night but it should get hotter in the next couple of weeks. What do you think?

Yes you can do that but they might get a little spindly without enough light.Just make sure you keep the root ball together when you take them out of the cups.

Your plants will get spindly in the window. If your on a budget I would do a CFL set up using a power strip, Y splitters, plug in adapter and a small fan with 6, 26W bulbs. My first grow was set up like this and with a timer cost me about $20 total. Keep a fan blowing on the lights or they get too hot. I would just leave the light on for 24 hours for the 10 days. You could also get a cheep 2 bulb, 2 foot T5 light from wall mart. If you get CFLs look for a mix if 2,700K or 3,000K color bulbs and 6,500K bulbs. You can run 1 color or the other but I like a mix my self.

I would humbly suggest having a clear plan of what you need to do considering the route you're taking. Being confident in your particular set up, as confident as a noob can be, helps tremendously when you inevitably run into issues. It you haven't already sowed your seeds, wait. I can't give you advice about outdoor growing but those RQS NL's are quick to finish and great yielders. Good luck!

i have been searching for a spot for 2 weeks and found one near the woods where no people live there so there should be no problem.Right now i am thinking about purchasing a few cfl's for the first 10 days of vegetative growing but in my country they are kind of expesinve compared to the US 1=cfl 8$.Thank you all for posting!

Dam $8 is too high. I paid about $6 for 3 bulbs.
