Hi im new to autos, but not photos, I am wanting to do an indoor grow in compost for about 4 plants, space height and security are not big issues. I have 3 400w lights and 2 125 w CFL for seedlings. I have read as much as I can and have just started a practice outdoor grow of 3 EASYRYDER in 15l pots 70% compost 30% vermiculte. I am interested in superautos do they require a 20/4 light cycle, what NPK should I use for veg and bloom?

Welcome to our forum Goatman. So called super autos are just bigger auto strains and can use normal auto lighting schedules.W hen you grow inside I would suggest using perlite instead of vermiculite because it drains better and woun't water log your soil.As far as nutes go,Fox Farm,General Hydroponics,Dyna-Gro,and Advanced Nutrients, are all tryed and true nutrients that are great for autos. If you have any more questions just holler.:welcome::pass:

Thanks for the welcome When you say normal lighting schedules do you mean 16/8 and 12/12 like photos? I have read that supers are not true autos eg ruderalis X but fast flowering photos. I am looking deeply at shortstuff genetics any recomendations. Cant get the nutes, you are talking about, I am located in sunny hot, South Eastern Europe. I did BREXIT in 2008. What I can get is a powder form nute, which states only NPK.....but the variations of this are limitless. I just want a basic NPK for veg then bloom. Having problems already with my practice EASYRYDER grow
joint doctor genetics from SEEDCITY UK. 48 hr soak in distilled water then into kitchen paper and jiffy bag. ( please remember this is not my first grow ) 5 days later only 1 of the 3 seeds has popped? WTF?

I'm new to autos too. I got a bunch of seeds from RQS and my first two attempts in shot glass then paper towel failed miserably. I got in touch with them for advice, some have suggested the shell may be thicker on autos but they said naw; they kindly replaced the seeds I'd burned and gave me instructions for the root riot block method. I used this method on the last 4 seeds from the first batch and they all came up a treat. I think perhaps the papertowel method ain't so clean cut n easy with some autos.
