Hi kind folks.

So I’m prepping for my third grow ever. Years pass between grows since 3-4 pots last me forever; I more or less microdose to battle “stress and nerves” and the Groundhog Day syndrome of the modern life. Sure, the occasional recreational high do occur! I love this herb, more or less a life saver and it brings poetry and stars within reach. Sorry, getting carried away.

I’ve changed my setup from 250HPS/MH to Timbers 200w citizen. Tent is 2,5x2,5, 4x10L airpots, biobizz lightmix with biotabs starter kit. Used Advanced Nutrients previously. What else? Beans! Stashed up on some Dinafem and Mephisto. Think I’ll start with Dinafem O.G. Kush CBD, Cheeze CBD and Mephisto Samsquanch and 4AM.

So what I wonder is: should, or rather can I use my 200w cob from start? Seedlings will be sensitive so I start with lights high and maybe 30% power?

4 pots ok for the space/watt?

Problem. My water is ph 8.0 straight from the tap. Don’t know if it changes if I bubble it. I’d rather not meddle with ph down though. You think biotabs can handle ph 8?

Nutrients in the soil are available in a "pH range". @8.0, you will need to pH down if watering alone. My tap starts @ 7.4, each of the nutes I add drop the pH some, running full amounts put me in the low 5s' so pH up is needed. But I pH anything that goes to the root system.

The effects of your nute line on pH may be different, and you might get away with straight tap for a bit, but your pH will climb and cause you issues down the road.

I think you’ll be ok with that water and Biotabs mate. I would bubble it for a while but I think the micro besties will sort it out.
