Old Reviews New rules in LED section,any queries or questions

Hi,

Just in for some clarification on the new rules in the LED section.

If i read the notification correctly it states that we need to complete a grow with the LED's and submit the complete grow for review with the new template before we post anything?
So no more weekly updates etc??

This is the new rule for anyone not in the loop:

8) No LED links,spam or promo in the grow journals. Please complete a grow at AFN with the LED and then submit a review in the LED review section,you can add a link there.
AFN Reserve the right to Delete any posts or Vendors that Spam or Flam other LED Vendors to promote their own products.

Or does this mean we can keep posting to our journals, just no mention of the LED's we are using till the end of the grow?

Or does it mean business as usual, except no links to the LED product we are using to grow with until the end of the grow when we submit the relevant LED template for review?

Carry on with all the reg updates just no links to LED Companys directly in your threads. All the company info's will be kept to the questionnaire:smokebuds:

Yes mate this is it. :smokebuds: business as usual just no links,spam or promo in the journals.If you've already completed a grow with your LEDs then you can submit a review right away and link the company on the review form :High 5: were just trying to keep a lid on spamming & also provide a decent led review section bro :smokebuds:

Good idea on keeping the LED section clean from LED manufacturer links
I just find it a bit overkill to fill in a questionnaire about the LED used as most ordinary people won't know half of the details asked and I for sure am not going to go back to the place I bought mine from to ask more questions about the output of wattage for example.

Luckily for us we have some members who are willing go out of there way to help the site,the quesitionnare answers the most important points someone lookin for a new light will need to look at and I think the vast majority will find it helpful.

:thumbs: i say this best way to go :smokebuds:,on my next grow i well post my links here on my LED grows to my thread,and like rose say most ordinary people won't know half of the details on led,so i feel this would help us all out, Kudo

The review template doesn't contain any questions that are overly technical imo,spectrum,optics and wattage are the most technical questions and that info is readily available on the websites or via a quick chat with the retailer. Leaving any of those out would make a poor review. We realise not everyone want to do this but its the only way we can have reviews with relevant info :smokebuds:
