Hey guys!
I'm growing a Californian Snow auto, at the beggining she was looking just fine and was growing normal but as I started week 2 she started to slow down growth.
I looked everywhere and cant seem to figure out what's wrong with her.
Can someone help me? I'm entering week 3 now.
I'm growing outdoor.

Hmm, ya it does look quite yellow and small if these are 3 weeks in. Also, at that size they shouldn't need much for additional nutrients.

I'm not much of an outdoor grower so maybe a more experienced member will chime in, but the soil may be the problem. Possibly the pH is not ideal, limiting/locking out nutrient uptake. Or maybe it's just that seed had some issues, sometimes you get bad ones.

Maybe head over to the infirmary section, but they'll require alot more detail of the grow to get to the bottom of it.

Good luck

Thank you for the reply!
Checked the infirmary section and I think the problem is the soil being too hot. I got a pretty nasty heat wave at the start of week 2 and that's when the problems started to occur.
Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

What's your environment like? I'm central California, if I pop seeds and go straight outside, there quite a bit behind my indoor plants. Temps and rH aren't great for little ones... if I put them out after getting thru seedling stage, I have much better luck.

But the yellowing is something else...

The weather in my city for the last 2 weeks has been 42ºC/107.6ºF and very dry.
I'm thinking of transplanting to a small cup for a week or so, is that a good idea?

Betting the temps and rH are a large part of it.

The transplant may work, if you are gentle. For my girls destined for outside I plant on 1 gallon bags, then just plant the whole bag when its time.

Ok, i'll try transplanting and mantaining it in a more controlled environment to see if it bounces back! Thank you so much for the tips!

One more thing, after the transplant is it better to keep feeding nutrients or just plain PHed water?

That one is a little more difficult... the yellowing would initially have me thinking that the food was a little lite. I might do the transplant and then hit it with something soft, maybe a 25% strength feed.

Thank you for the insight on all of this! I'll try it out
