Hi Everyone Im on my first grow and everything has actually been going good up until now. My plants are on day 49 of flower and all of the sudden started showing brown/yellow spots on tips and some on the whole leaf. The only thing I have changed is I did start adding unsulphured molasses to my watering about a week a ago in every other water. Maybe that caused the problem? See setup below with pictures

Mars hydro 2x2 tent
Bloomplus 1500 led
4 inch inline fan for ventilation
Temps are 75-79 with 45% RH
Water with ph'd water 6.5-6.75
I started with Happy frog soil with natures living soil auto flower additive. They have been thriving the whole time until now.
Plant is at day 49 of flower, any help is much appreciated!!

Yea I did see that chart earlier, I tried my best to narrow it down but as a complete novice it almost seemed like it could be any of them!? Thanks

Hi @Mountainman34 It does not look bad yet. Give us some more information and we may be able to make a suggestion or two:

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate:
night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics!

Sure thing!!!

Medium/grow method: Happy Frog potting soil with Natures living soil super soil additive(auto flower formula)

Feed: and supplements used: No feed however I did give the plant Black unsulphured molasses starting about two weeks ago. 1 tablespoon per 3/4 gallon of water mixed every other watering. I did notice this problem after giving molasses.

water source: Well water ph'd to 6.5-6.75

Strain/age: OG Kush day 51

light used: Bloom Plus 1500 LED, 150 watt. 18/6 light cycle

Climate: High temp 78 low temp 71 RH fluctuates between 43%-55%

Additional info:The plant might look good to you and it may be but I have noticed a definite yellowing of the overall plant along with the burnt ends and yellowing tips of the leaves. There has also been a few purple stems develop here and there. As mentioned I have only fed ph'd water until recently adding molasses to the water over the past two weeks. It did happen after the molasses so maybe that's the cause? I did ph the water after adding the molasses as well. I have also ordered another ph pen for fear that mine might be off. Sorry for the ignorance guys and I really appreciate the help! P.S The picture of the fan leaf was one removed from the bottom of the plant..just FYI

THANK YOU!

Your timing on the molasses is too early. The idea for adding carbohydrates in the last two weeks of the plants life is to supplement the soil organisms when the plant stops doing it at the end of its life cycle. I do not think that has a major role here but it may have tweaked the microbes to shift into the wrong phase for the plant?

What I really think is going on is your soil is running out of gas! Can you top dress with Natures living soil super soil additive? If not you may need to get some other Balanced nutrients on her. What do you have on hand?

I do have some Natures living soil left, can I top dress with that? I also have some Roots Organics Terp Tea that I haven't used. I don't have any way to make it into a tea as I don't have an aerator but it says you can use it to top dress.

Thanks again for all the help!

Does the natures living soil have a guaranteed NPK analysis?
