Hey just thinking of doing a new gr0 and the thing is all i want to do is 1 autoflower in a box. Can i use just One light and what lumen/watt do i use for 1 plant? I would like a nice little compact one with nice buds on it. And are there any strains which are very EASY and is also strong but not too strong smellin hehehe. Thanks and ask me ur questions too!

Welcome to AFN alot of people recommend around 100w per plant so you would be good with 1 light. Also going to move the thread to intros you will get alot more views matey :smokebuds:

You can keep your auto a little smaller by using a small pot 5-6 litre should keep it pretty short and stocky, as far as smell, you never can tell. Most plants i've had have smelled to some degree and all have needed the carbon filter to get rid of it!
I would prepare for a smelly plant - that way you're covered.
We can help you with some plant training advice to keep it a little smaller when you get your thread up and running.

As far as strains go - there's too many good ones to list really, I'd check out some smoke reports and see what you like the sound of, then narrow it down that way. If you've only got a small cab, i'd steer clear of the Super Autos as they could easily outgrow your space.

Aww so kind man yeh thats what i need as much help as possible. I was thinking about putting it in a box and using a 18 hour light on it. Also put foil in the box too hehe. Just wondering if i would get insects in the room or if 1 plant wud get too smelly lol. Would i need an extractor to get fresh air in all the time or would opening window for few hours a day would suffice. Im just thinking about putting it next to my pc under desk and get some fans hooked from pc to the box. I would like you people to ask me questions also about where i could be going wrong

I would try to get some Ona gel or block to mask the smell and may get a cheapish carbon filter

No worries buddy.

When you say box.. you don't mean the cardboard variety do you. Just checking because thats one hell of a fire risk hehe (don't do it! ^_^)
Foil - meh! You can get mylar rolls pretty cheap or just paint the insides a flat white!
One plant will get smelly.
You definitely need an extractor - it will suck the heat out of the box allowing the plants to live. (If you get a carbon filter aswell, it will suck(or blow)the smelly hot air though and make it clean like a fresh spring morning ^_^

How big's your box going to be?
Don't forget you'll need about 2 feet of height (on top of the height of the plant pot) plus a bit of room above so your light isn't too close and burning your buds in the last stages.

Ona gel or block to mask the smell

I tried it, and it's not bad- but not a replacement for a filter. ONA just masks and it's pretty strong (and obvious if you know what ona smells like) . A good carbon filter and fan setup will eliminate the odours for you!

Well my box will be made from wood which i will make myself. It will be about 1.5 metres tall which wud fit next to my pc or i cud put it behind my pc if it needs to be bigger. Yeh but bout the extractor u have to have the other end outside right? only thing i cud attach it to is an air vent in my room but thats VERY tricky and i have a window that is all.

Out side the cab, yeah! Sucking hot air out! (dont forget to have a intake hole at the bottom - this will allow the fan to suck fresh air in as it's blowing hot air out ^_^)

With one light (maybe a 250w CFL 2700k) and one plant, you could get and extractor and carbon filter blowing hot air into your room.
With a window open this should be fine.
I exhaust into my room with a 250w hps which is substantially hotter, and temps are controllable (unless in extreme summer heat - then we all suffer)
1.5m height should be fine mate. You'll get a nice plant in there ^_^
